covid-19 protocol

The health and wellbeing of our participants and staff is of utmost importance.  Due to the COVID-19 public health emergency, we have put in place preventative measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19; however, a risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any social gathering and we cannot guarantee that participants will not become infected with COVID-19.  By participating in Child’s Play Challenge Courses activities, clients and participants voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.

 

The following protocol has been established utilizing available reference materials and CDC guidelines:

 

-All Child’s Play Challenge Courses equipment will be sanitized prior to arrival at your facility with an EPA approved disinfectant and in accordance with its recommended use and contact time.

 

-At the request of the client, Child’s Play Challenge Courses staff will disinfect equipment between the client’s assigned groups.

 

-Child’s Play Challenge Courses strongly recommends that participants sanitize their hands prior to each entry on the Challenge Course. 

 

-At the request of the client, participants can be socially-distanced on the Challenge Course and while waiting in line and every effort will be made to maintain 6’ of space between participants.

 

-Child’s Play Challenge Courses staff can wear masks while participants are on the Challenge Course at the request of the client. 

 

-Child’s Play Challenge Courses staff displaying flu-like symptoms and/or body temperature of 100.4 degrees F will not be allowed to work.

 

-Child’s Play Challenge Courses staff who begin to exhibit flu-like symptoms and/or a body temperature of 100.4 degrees or higher during an event will immediately be removed from the Challenge Course.

 

-Child’s Play Challenge Courses will work with our clients to incorporate their guidelines, policies and best practices into our guidelines, where appropriate. 

 

-Conflicting guidelines and/or policies, if any, will be reviewed by designated representatives from Child’s Play Challenge Courses and the client, and the most effective policy will be implemented.
