The health and wellbeing of our participants and staff is of utmost importance. Due to the COVID-19 public health emergency, we have put in place preventative measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19; however, a risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any social gathering and we cannot guarantee that participants will not become infected with COVID-19. By participating in Child’s Play Challenge Courses activities, clients and participants voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.
The following protocol has been established utilizing available reference materials and CDC guidelines:
-All Child’s Play Challenge Courses equipment will be sanitized prior to arrival at your facility with an EPA approved disinfectant and in accordance with its recommended use and contact time.
-At the request of the client, Child’s Play Challenge Courses staff will disinfect equipment between the client’s assigned groups.
-Child’s Play Challenge Courses strongly recommends that participants sanitize their hands prior to each entry on the Challenge Course. If the client is not able to provide hand sanitizer to their participants, Child’s Play Challenge Courses can provide a hands-free hand sanitizing station, upon request.
-At the request of the client, participants can be socially-distanced on the Challenge Course and while waiting in line and every effort will be made to maintain 6’ of space between participants.
-Child’s Play Challenge Courses staff will wear masks while participants are on the Challenge Course and staff will frequently use hand sanitizer.
-Child’s Play Challenge Courses staff displaying flu-like symptoms and/or body temperature of 100.4 degrees F will not be allowed to work.
-Child’s Play Challenge Courses staff who begin to exhibit flu-like symptoms and/or a body temperature of 100.4 degrees or higher during an event will immediately be removed from the Challenge Course.
-Due to state restrictions and the increased health concerns of enclosed spaces, Child’s Play Challenge Courses is not operating indoors at this time.
-Child’s Play Challenge Courses will work with our clients to incorporate their guidelines, policies and best practices into our guidelines, where appropriate.
-Conflicting guidelines and/or policies, if any, will be reviewed by designated representatives from Child’s Play Challenge Courses and the client, and the most effective policy will be implemented.
